To follow this tutorial we are going to use the most stable version of ManimCE, follow the steps below to configure your work environment.

1. Create a work folder:

    mkdir ManimCE
    cd ManimCE

2. Create a virtual environment (the example here is with virtualenv):

.. code:: bash

    virtualenv venv


3.1 Activate the virtual environment for **Linux** or **Mac**:

.. code:: bash

    source venv/bin/activate

3.2 Activate the virtual environment for **Windows**:

.. code:: powershell

    .\venv\Scripts\activate

4. Install ManimCE stable version:

.. code:: sh

    pip install manim

5. Clone the tutorial repository:

.. code:: sh

    git clone https://github.com/Elteoremadebeethoven/ManimCE-tutorial tutorial
